Very well connected with the Bollywood Industry, Sonam Kapoor is the daughter of the
Anil Kapoor and Sunita. Born on 9th June, 1985, Sonam completed her schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir and majored in Theater Arts and Chinese History from United World College of East Asia.
Seeing her inclination towards this glamorous industry, she decided to groom herself; she took dance lessons, as well as acting and diction classes and followed her father’s foot steps. After being behind the camera and assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Black’, Sonam came forward opposite another débutante,
Ranbir Kapoor, in Saawariya.
The film didn’t do that well at the box office but
Ranbir and Sonam both gained a lot of appreciation for their work. Sonam Kapoor appears to be very intelligent and sober. Her humble personality gives her the potential which a lot of big names have discovered in her.
